In Level 1, you’ll gain the core skills and concepts of the Parenting as a Team model. By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Analyse triangular alliances in families and spot the difference between helpful and harmful patterns.
- Distinguish competitive couple alliances from collusive parent–child alliances.
- Understand the unique roles of the Active Parent and the Third-Party Parent, and why smooth transitions between them matter.
- Explain why couples working against each other undermines children’s wellbeing.
- Recognise what effective teamwork between parents looks like in practice.
- Generate Parenting as a Team Action Plans that support couples to collaborate, rather than clash.
- Apply core interventions, including: disrupting competitive parenting, repairing mis-coordination, and reinforcing couple solidarity.
